I am back with yet another concept E.P. The Murderer.
One of my favourite hobbies since childhood has been watching bad horror movies & I still enjoy watching them to this day. This EP is a tribute to the bad slasher movies of the 1980's.

All tracks written by Karl Mahoney except track 1 (I Understand Murder), lyrics by Billy Childish.
Thank you for listening & look out for the second Postal Squad LP which will be out before the end of the year.

This is a concept EP about whether or not I wish to join the 27 club & kill myself before I hit my 28th birthday. The constant themes throughout are wasted lives, questioning my own mortality & the death of 27 year old rock stars.
The opening spoken word title track 27, Not Out received rave reviews from SuperJohnny & Magneto when they heard a sneak preview at Chelmsford train station a few months back
Picking Up The Pieces - about a man who loses his friends & family through alcoholism, is a cockney anthem.
Who's That Knocking On My Door - me attempting to be Tom Waits.
Lord Don't Take Me Away - about me not wanting to die yet. Didn't work with me singing/talking over it so I got The Swede to do it in another language.
The 27, Club - A song about the famous club of dead rock stars aged 27
Kurt Cobain's Stomach Pain - is about exactly that. Sometimes I get a bad stomach & do a nasty shit, I feel his pain. Kurt provides vocals & also features on the EP's artwork.
I Hear Voices - This track has Satan singing the classic songs of all the members of the 27 club.
White Noise - The only track not recorded at Karl Mahoney's home studio. White Noise was recorded at Royal Mail sorting centre, Sidcup & features JamesDCody & King John on the table drums with 'Screaming' Karl Mahoney on vox.

Thanks to anybody who takes the time to listen
